Halt Whistleblowing Map
Broadly speaking, whistleblowing might be outlined as the raising of a concern, either within the workplace or externally, about a danger, risk, malpractice or wrongdoing which affects others.Just like in all organizations, information provided by whistleblowers in sports can provide vital assistance to public prosecutors, sports governing bodies / authorities and individual clubs (amongst others), when seeking to identify and eradicate wrongdoing in sport.
The Whistleblowing service of the HALT project acts as an early warning system. It is about revealing and raising concerns over harassment and abuse within the context of sports. Any adult or young person with concerns about a colleague, fellow athlete or themselves being at a risk can use the whistle-blowing service to make a report.
